Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Builder. Please read them carefully — by using the Service you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Builder ("Builder", "we", "us"). By accessing or using builder.ui.pe or the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Builder is an AI-powered tool that helps you plan, generate, preview, and package Flutter applications, including producing source code and build artifacts such as APK and AAB files and signing keystores. The Service is provided on an ongoing basis and may evolve over time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use Builder on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Accounts and Registration

Authentication is provided through Auth0. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Early Access and Beta Features

Builder is offered in early access. Some features may be experimental, may change, or may be discontinued, and may not always be available or error-free. Early-access features are provided "as is" and may be subject to additional terms.

6. Plans, Billing, and Free Tier

Builder currently offers a free tier and may offer paid plans. Where paid plans apply, fees, billing cycles, and any taxes will be disclosed at purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing on a prospective basis with reasonable notice. See our pricing page for current details.

7. Your Content and Ownership

You own your inputs and the Flutter/Dart code and artifacts Builder generates for you. Builder does not lock you in — you can export your source at any time. You grant Builder a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide it back to you.

You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to use any assets, trademarks, or data you incorporate into your apps.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to build or distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive applications;
  • Violate the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Use the Service to generate malware, spam, or content that violates applicable laws or app-store policies; or
  • Resell or misrepresent the Service.

9. Builder's Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including our software, models, branding, and documentation, but excluding your content and generated project code — is owned by Builder and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right in Builder's brand or platform beyond using the Service as intended.

10. Third-Party Services and Store Submissions

Shipping an app may involve third parties such as Google Play, the Apple App Store, Flutter/Dart tooling, and cloud providers, each with their own terms. You are responsible for complying with those terms and for your app's store submissions. Builder does not guarantee that any app will be approved by a given store.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL GENERATED CODE AND ARTIFACTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-generated output may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing and testing it before release.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUILDER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 100.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Builder harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your apps, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Builder's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to resolve disputes in the courts located there, unless applicable law provides otherwise. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protections available to you.

16. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where required, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
